They seem like fairly fraigle things, given how small they are. I'm a bit less concerned about the helicopters breaking, versus what might happen when they freefall. I'm imagining the dogfights that will take place, and a lot of surprised people jumping at the mini-copters crashing into their desks/keyboards.Stil a small price to pay for that much fun. :)
This collection is full of epic fail and do not want. I rellay want to know what's next for Karl and company how far will the push the demand for the logo and disregard for good design?

funny i live near a military base and those heplcoiters you showed at the end fly by my house along the beach all the time . and every time they do i think of the DON'T MAKE ME ANGRY picture . but yeah im not stupid enough to laser them..
Try flying a hepolicter or landing an airplane with a bright light distracting you. Most people couldn't drive a car straight at night what that kind of distraction. Piloting aircraft is hard enough without some dolt shining a laser in your cockpit.
Hey people's, once you've cut your teeth in 3d fliyng on an air hogs or Picooz two channel job, you gotta get cyclic man! Invested in one of those twin rotor bell 47/ocean rescue/e.t.c, type machines. the electrics are all similar but you can buy em under many brand names. They got two counter rotating rotors on a common shaft, they are great. Having cyclic pitch control is awesome, a totally different experience to the all over the place Picooz type machine. With time I tweaked my original Picooz and could do a circuit and landing on a home built heli pad about the size of a magazine in area. But you get sick of that after a while and this is the next logical step. They are all over the net. Pick one up and get into fliyng rolling take offs, going backwards, and fliyng through small openings. They call them an indoor helicopter. But try them outside, they don't like wind, true, but any good chopper pilot dosen't let a little thing like wind stop him/her!They are R/C instead of Infra red too, so daytime outside is no worries.Watch Perfect storm (the helicopter rescue scene) for some insparation if you don't think you can handle wind!Even the tiny Picooz can handle some breeze, not much, but the trick is this:I used to go out at night after I put the kids to bed and had washed up, fed the cat and got the wife off, and try to fly the light weight Picooz across my road to the other side and back.Trouble was, even the lightest breeze would carry it off course down wind and I could never make any real head way to get back.- BUT all you need to do is dial in some clockwise (looking from the rear of the machine) tail rotor, almost to the point where the tail rotor is pointing almost straight down, and it gives you the foward grunt to fly into, and make ground upwind. Some throttle makes the tail rotor pull the boom up, pointing the nose down, and off she goes. This amount of foward thrust would be unworkable indoors, but outside in the wide open space, it is not so much of an issue and gives you much important leverage against the elements!Give it a shot, start with a little twist, and progress until you can fight that breeze and come home! Breeze I use very subjectively, I'm talking the light current of wind that you can hardly feel, but never-the-less seems to pull your Picooz down wind when fliyng out side at night. One of the reasons it's cool and acheiveable to fly the Picooz at night is also down to the fact that it has a flashing strobe! This I thought was a silly battery wasting gimmick when I initially purchased my first Picooz, but it actually is a huge asset for night fliyng. Especially if your ship goes down in hostile, Neighbor's dog barking hedge territory.Keep fliyng on the edge!if ya not on the edge, you are taking up too much space!(yes. I am a loser!)Picooz warrior
Cleaning is a joyless aaffir. When you're on all fours, clad in Marigolds, scrubbing away at congealed lasagne, the world can feel like a dark place. Not any more! Our kgb agents have seen the future and it's a Robo-Vac Pro vacuum cleaner. For just a3149, you can hand over your chores to this faithful, shiny orb of a maid (name her as you please!). Equipped with a UV lamp, mop and corner-cleaning capability this loveable gadget is a heck of a lot more efficient than tired old Henry. It even detects obstacles, returns its base when it needs to recharge and goes about its work almost soundlessly. Normally a3329, you'll save 55% and gain hours of fun watching it glide around! I, Robo-Vac Pro LCD screen Mini body design easily cleans corners and narrow spaces Low noise Mop (wet and dry) UV lamp for sterilizing Scheduled vacuuming wall function and wall-following performance Wireless remote controller One charge cleans up to four rooms See all specifications
We have experienced this with the ones that we have. I tghuoht that it was the pot in the controller not wiping fully and sending a wrong signal to the heli. Another of my friends thinks that he can hear the main drive gears binding and so sapping power to the lift props. Perhaps a light oil on these gears may help. If I get to the bottom of the heli dropping out of the sky, I post a reply here.
Review by K. Wirsch for Rating: I believe this is THE best toy RC hieoceptlr on the market. It is not the smallest hieoceptlr out there, but small enough to be flown in pretty much any room. The quality is something you wouldn't expect from a toy in that price range. If you treat the LiPo well, this thing will last and last and last As to flying characteristics, it flies like an RC car. It goes where you want it to go and if you do nothing, it will just hover in place. Anybody can fly this thing. The precise control over movements you have with this hieoceptlr is absolutely amazing!I recommend charging it via the included USB charger plugged into a USB wall adapter (but any computer USB port or powered USB hub will work as well). That way you get consistent charging and save your transmitter batteries.Minor caveats: Since the remote control is infrared, the LED backlighting in flat panel TVs and strong fluorescent lights may interfere with the remote control and cause you to lose control. So don't fly too close to your TV or lights. Also, sometimes after crashes the lower rotor comes lose. The symptom is that the hieoceptlr will produces a whining noise and refuse to lift off. Gently pushing down the lower rotors on the shaft fixes the problem.Lastly, with flight times of 5 to 7 minutes and about 40 to 50 minutes recharging time , you will want at least a second hieoceptlr to get more flight time.
I wouldn't get this toy again. As soon as you turn the swicth on, it just goes backward in circles and there is only one button to make it go forward. You also have to press the button really hard. It just goes on and on in circles until you turn it off, very annoying.
Hi. It does seem that you have a problem. I would look at rclapeing the tail rotor motor, as it seems the armature is loose or misplaced. Unless you can see a way of fixing it. I have a feeling that these parts are not expensive and should be easy enough to fit. Hope you get it sorted soon and start enjoying this playful little copter. ;D
just ordered one of these and the new model doesn't have a viislbe spring inside the remote case. My model S 107 has the accelerator stick protruding from a small metal enclosure with the spring mounted inside somewhere. Does anyone know if the new models can be modified without breaking anything?
Yes it is in the Camberley area. Enjoy your helicopter when you get it. If you have an iPhone you can crhgae the helicopter with it. or from the usb socket on the computer. Charging from the Controller runs the batteries down, so better just to leave them to just be used for the infra red
Well I may be able to help if you gave me the brand and model of the helicopter. I think what you are refnireg to is the Balance Bar, and that usually needs to be replaced . depending on where its broken of course. You could try going to the electronics store and have them help you. If all else fails, and as a last resort, you could return it and get another one
I *wanted* Stingers, but they didn't have the kind that gave off rainbow bdathiry sparkles! But the napalm has pretty shimmers when you look at it sideways in the sun....
I have to agree Joel. Chickenhawk is a great read. if fact it's three great reads. I've started reinadg it again for the third time. Far better than some of the more recent helicopter action books, and you can learn something as well.
HA! 33bps on an ego. okay well i can get it on my ego9 no? fucking prlobem your a dumb ass. plus i also have an sl94, ill get a video up of both hitting well over 33, so fuck off mother fucker.
